Kira remains skeptical of the title "artist", as she believes everyone is an artist.

She has been making art her entire life, and has worked in a wide variety of media.

Her creative work is motivated by a reverence for the specificities of our physical world, and the invisible connections that hold everything together.

Currently she is digging into her obsession with handmade patterns, and honing her illustrative style for children's literature.
